We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from CARRYVALE, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we have built in
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Every product image, including our illustrations, has a text description.
- Color swatches always carry a written color name, so you never have to rely on color alone.
- Measurements are given in inches and centimeters, in text rather than images.
- Text meets contrast guidelines, and pages reflow on small screens without sideways scrolling.
- Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- Some products are shown with illustrations rather than photographs while photography is in progress.
- Payment takes place on our payment processor’s hosted page, which follows its own accessibility standards.
